Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has issued second-quarter gaming revenue payments totaling $34,505,783 to the 29 communities that host land-based casinos in the province, covering July 1 to September 30.
OLG’s $34,505,783 second-quarter payment brings fiscal year-to-date payments to the 29 host communities to $76,920,529.
The payments are calculated under the Municipality Contribution Agreement, which OLG says is “consistently applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.” OLG’s fiscal year runs from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement provides municipalities with funding to support improvements in infrastructure and with funding to support local priorities,” said Zee Hamid, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. Hamid added that gaming facilities “generate economic activity, support local jobs and investment, and provide revenue that helps fund priorities that are important to the people of Ontario.”
