Online casino and poker
Online table games (iTables) brought in $49.3M of gross revenue on $2.63B of wagers, +3.6% year on year (our calculation). Online poker revenue, which is rake and tournament fees, was $2.4M; PGCB does not report poker wagers.
The 34% state tax line on iSlots was $64.9M. iSlots carry a total levy of 54% (34% state, 13% CFA county grants, 5% and 2% local share); iTables and iPoker pay 14% state tax plus a 2% local share. The iTables state tax line was $6.9M.
Sports betting
Online sportsbooks took $548.6M in handle and reported $47.1M of revenue. After $17.1M of promotional credits, taxable gross revenue was $30.0M, and the 34% state tax due was $10.2M. PGCB notes that sports handle includes futures, so revenue divided by handle is not a true hold percentage.
