Spin Casino joins Alberta’s regulated market, taking the official list to 35 sites

The Alberta iGaming Corporation’s directory now lists Spin Casino. It is the first addition since September 30, when the list stood at 34.

Key takeaways

  1. 01Spin Casino (spincasino.ca/alberta) now appears on AiGC’s Registered iGaming Sites directory, which lists 35 sites.
  2. 02On September 30 the directory listed 34 sites. On July 13, when the market opened, AiGC said 22 sites were approved.
  3. 03AGLC’s register of iGaming operators was unchanged on October 5, at 40 companies.

Spin Casino now appears on the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s Registered iGaming Sites directory, linked to www.spincasino.ca/alberta. The directory lists 35 sites as of October 5, 2026. On September 30 it listed 34.

The directory is the list that decides whether a private site is part of Alberta’s regulated market. A site that is not on it, and is not the government’s Play Alberta, is not regulated in the province.

Who runs it

AiGC’s directory names websites, not the companies behind them. Alberta’s regulator, AGLC, keeps the company register. We matched Spin Casino to Cadtree Limited: iGaming Ontario’s public directory lists Cadtree Limited as the operator of Spin Casino in Ontario, alongside Jackpot City, Royal Vegas and Ruby Fortune. In Alberta, Cadtree already had Royal Vegas and Ruby Fortune on AiGC’s list.

Cadtree Limited holds three iGaming operator registrations on AGLC’s register, expiring July 13, September 2 and September 8, 2027. AGLC does not say which registration covers which site.

What did not change

We re-downloaded AGLC’s register on October 5. It still lists 40 companies with an iGaming operator registration (42 rows). Sixteen of them, including Stake Canada Ltd. and the Bet99 company, still have no site on AiGC’s list. AGLC says an operator needs both its registration and a signed commercial agreement with AiGC before it can operate.
